Kids Kollege Introduction

Kids Kollege is an annual event presented by Somerset Community College Community, Workforce & Economic Development. The purpose of Kids Kollege is to give kids a fun and unique learning experience during their summer break. It is offered in two (2), week-long sessions every summer for children ages 6 - 12. Your child may attend one or both sessions. The dates for Kids Kollege will be announced in late spring. Usually there is a one-week session in late June, and another one-week session in early to mid July. Please check back for details.

Kids Kollege classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon. On Monday of each session, the registration table opens at 7:45 a.m., with orientation beginning at 8:15 in the Student Commons Cafeteria. At this time, children receive their class schedule, learn the location of their classes, and are introduced to the faculty and staff of KIDS KOLLEGE.

With the exception of Monday morning, children arrive on campus just before their 8:30 class. Parents must see that their child is picked up promptly at 12:00 noon.

Each child attends three (3) classes per session week. When registering, your child selects four (4) of six (6) available classes, ranking them in priority. When the child's schedule is prepared, he/she should receive three (3) of the four (4) classes. Children attending two (2) sessions will receive all six (6) classes.
