Network Administration –

MCSA Track

The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) credential validates your ability to manage and troubleshoot network environments in the Windows operating system.

 

Students entering this program must have basic computer skills like those obtained in CIS 100 – Introduction to Computers.

 

This Network Administration option provides the concepts and skills needed to design, install, maintain, and expand networked and telecommunication systems. The curriculum provides specific training in Cisco network systems. Upon completion of the option, the graduate will be qualified to take industry designed and recognized exams.

What can I do with this degree?

Employment opportunities include entry-level positions in installation and administration of local and wide area networks in medium to large businesses and organizations and computer network administration positions in small businesses. This curriculum is supported by a solid foundation of core courses that focus on problem solving and communication skills for information technology professionals.
