New Student Orientation
The Somerset Community College Orientation Program provides information to the beginning college student about the transition to post-secondary education. It also assists the student in setting and achieving his or her educational goals. It is strongly recommended that new students complete orientation before registering for classes.
Orientation is conducted before the fall, spring and summer terms. It is offered on campus several times with the student assigned a date to attend. If a student cannot attend on-campus orientation, an On-Line Orientation is available. You may also download a helpful New Student Orientation Booklet pdf. Once the student has applied for admission, information concerning orientation will be mailed to the student.
