Here is what current Student Ambassador have to say about their experience:

“When I hear the term, ‘Student Ambassador,’ the first word that comes to mind is, ‘opportunity.’ Holding this prestigious position has helped me develop better communication skills, improved my organizational techniques and punctuality, and has given me opportunities to use my goal-oriented spirit to meet new challenges. The Ambassador program illuminates the abilities of its delegates—it truly opens doors. By utilizing the skills I have developed while serving as a Student Ambassador, I was crowned Miss Berea Area 2009. Given that the Interview category was 35% of the overall score in the pageant, I believe there is no better preparation for success in the Miss Kentucky arena than serving as an SCC Student Ambassador. The benefits gained from this preparation are not limited to the pageant setting. These benefits may also apply to the job market, to furthering one’s education, and to general communication skills in any field one chooses. I hope to represent our area well in the Miss Kentucky Pageant this summer, and I will owe a debt of gratitude to the Student Ambassador Program at SCC.”

-Mira Spangler-Baker

Being a Student Ambassador has been more than a great honor. I've had the opportunities to learn skills I will use for the rest of my life. Not only did I learn skills, but I have met people who have changed my life. This program is top notch and has changed my life in so many ways.
