SCC Visual Arts
Express yourself at SCC!
It's a good time to be an artist in Kentucky.
With the celebration of diversity, there is a healthy openness to
free expression. The individual voice serves as a narrative of experience that has a fresh, new power.
Diversity, openness, individuality—At Somerset Community College
these values are encouraged for the development of the artist.
The tradition of the Fine Arts Department is to encourage students
to find their creative voice in a range of methods and media. Painting
and drawing, the newest program in Fine Arts, invites beginning art-
ists to share the same learning environment and intermix their media.
Art classes at SCC are offered days and evenings at a variety of campus locations.
