SCC's Community, Workforce & Economic Development Division offers customized short-term training, technical skills upgrades, KYWINS and Blue Grass State Skills assistance to industry as well as Continuing and Community education programs.

Adult Education programs are offered for McCreary and Casey Counties. The Ready to Work and Work and Learn programs, coordinated through the CWED Division, assist KTAP recipients in transitioning to college. Please select from the menu on the left.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Office of Community, Workforce & Economic Development of Somerset Community College will provide short-term training, technical skills, assessments, and customized training to business and industry. Adult, community and continuing education will add to the college's mission by providing proprietary training and lifelong learning opportunities. The Office of Community, Workforce & Economic Development will actively participate in the development of a vibrant community in the area we serve.
