SCC Student Ambassadors for 2009-2010 announced

The Somerset Community College Student Ambassadors Class for the 2009-2010 school year have been announced.

 

The new SCC Student Ambassadors are: Kristy Snead of McCreary County, Khari Woodcock of Russell County, Rebecca Sperry of Metcalfe County, Courtney Hodgins of Pulaski County, Keri Lawless of Russell County, Cynthia Coffey of Wayne County, Josh Faust of Clinton County, Andy Bratcher of Lincoln County, Elliot Cleberg of Pulaski County, Kevin Willis of Clinton County, Kody Burton of Pulaski County, Seth Grider of Pulaski County, Larry Shreiner, Sr. of Pulaski County, Chris Carmen of Casey County, Almeta Hardwick of Pulaski County, Yulanda Bradshaw of Adair County, Tonya Hill of Clay County, Heather Keith of Pulaski County, Angela Hubbard of Clay County, and Melissa Keith of Adair County.

 

SCC’s Student Ambassadors represent and promote the College at various campus and community events. They also assist with recruiting efforts, conduct campus tours and provide information about SCC to prospective students, school groups and the general public.

 

In order to become an SCC Student Ambassador students must: Maintaining a 3.0 grade point average; be enrolled at SCC in fall 2009 and spring 2010 as full-time or part-time students; possess excellent communication skills; maintain a positive attitude, be dependable; have the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds; have the time to fully participate in the program; and must be a student who will represent SCC in a positive manner.
